Lake Forest is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lake Forest follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Food was pretty flavorless and, unfortunately overpriced. I understand the extra charge for delivery service but upgrading my already $23 dollar vermicelli to shrimp ($4.60) and crispy pork belly ($2.30), I got 3 pieces of shrimp and lime 8 little pieces of pork. I guess I can understand yhe shrimp since they were a decent size but the pork upgrade was horrible. There was no flavor and there was very little of it. It wasn't really yo my taste but it wasn't bad, just not good. I also got spring rolls and they were good. I got a drink with mango star jelly and didn't receive a boba straw so I couldn't drink them normally. Had to take the drink cover off altogether and had to drink it without a straw so the jelly was a waste of money. Sad that an almost $50 dollar meal was pretty flavorless, had very little protein and I couldn't drink the drink right. Usually eating in the restaurant would be better but I probably wont go back. I wouldn't give them less than 3 stars because, like I said, it wasnt bad, it just wasn't something I want again.

$18 + a 20% tip for takeout and this is what I got? Completely disappointing. The beef vermicelli dish was not it (probably gave me an old beef skewer that had been sitting out for a while) and the portion is honestly embarrassing. One small skewer and about five tiny tofu cubes that also came out cold for nearly $22 total. For that price this should have been a full, satisfying meal, not something that looks half-finished. I understand paying more for location, but charging premium prices while serving skimpy portions feels lazy and cheap. If you’re going to charge high prices, the food quality and portion size need to match. You’re better off going somewhere else.

I have been a big fan of this place and even recommended this place to my friends. Tonight my wife ordered three noodle soups, two regular size and one large. Large costs a few bucks more than regular and I know how much soup / noodle amount diff between them. I opened the large beef noodle soup and what I saw was definitely regular size bowl. The amount of beef might be large size, but the for the amount of noodle. Also soup was mediocre temperature, not even warm. Distance from this restaurant to my home is probably less than 10 mins driving distance. Called the restaurant, talked about it. The staff said he’s going to talk with kitchen staffs and call me back. A few minutes later I got the phone call explaining that it’s definitely large size, more soup more noodle and more beef. … when I was literally comparing the size between two regular size noodle soup and one large size in front of my eyes. We kind of argued for a couple of minutes for this, and ended up me hangout out as staff keep repeating the same thing saying they didn’t make a mistake. They could be right and i might be wrong for sure. But I’d just at least apologize about it and/or saying they would refund what

The shrimp rolls are really fresh, and I’ve always loved the pho. I really enjoyed everything and will definitely come back.

One of our favorite Vietnamese spots — the food is always great and the staff are genuinely kind. They accidentally missed one of our noodle dishes, but after we mentioned it they were so apologetic and even took it off the check. Their sincere attitude was really touching. Great food and even better service — we’ll definitely keep coming back. ☺️
